How can I search for the ID of the sensor ?

How can I search for the ID of the sensor ? Why I ask it. Because if i make an factory sensor i use this formel:

  1. 1:Traffic in Channel(3150,0)
  2. 2:Traffic out Channel(3150,1)

After that I give the Sensor an other name as the sensor that had the ID 3150. When I like to find the sensor with the ID 3150 i can't search for it. Because, I don't know his name after a time The reasson why I use the factory sensor ist that I have so lower traffic if I do the sensor in two diffrent groups.

id prtg8 search sensors

Thanks for the suggestions. We will implement such a search into the next version.

Until then, simply edit the URL of any sensor and paste the ID into it:

/sensor.htm?id=XYZ
