Can I modify number format in reports

Votes:

0

Both HTM and PDF formats use a "comma" seperator to indicate thousands eg 27,345. When exporting data to text the comma's force a line break.

Ideally I would like no commas used.

Hi there,

Recently we had the same question and here is the guide to edit the number format for PRTG:

  • open the regional settings as an administrator
  • open "More Settings..."
  • configure the number format to your advance
  • click on "Apply"
  • click on the "Administrative"-tab
  • open "Copy Settings..."
  • select "Welcome screen and system accounts"
  • click "Ok"
  • click "Apply"

Afterwards restart the PRTG Core Server Service to apply the changes to PRTG.

Hello,

PRTG uses the Windows Region-Settings (from the host PRTG is installed on) there, so you could try changing those.

best regards.

What if my core is in Germany, and I have remote probes scattered all around the world. Does everyone have to see the reports/charts using German formatting?

Hi,

Unfortunately, yes as the settings are depending on the system settings of the PRTG Core Server.

Best regards.
