Problem logging on error 80070005: Access is denied

We have a server in a network that is constantly in error mode when trying to fetch the sensor data for the hard disks. According to the knowledge base the username/password/domain combination is not correct.

Strange because it is in the same domain where we have other servers running that use the same information.

The server added using the IP address (this rules out the DNS problem); we've tried to enter the credentials directly into the sensor in stead of inheritence from the group but the problem persists. The OS is Windows 2008 R2 and we have switched off the Firewall.

Kind regards

please download our free WMI tester and run it directly on the server.

Do you get results for your disks?
