How to display all alarmed channels in sensor?

Votes:

0

Hi,

I have created sensor with more then one channel in it and set alarms for each channel. When more then one channel meets condition for alarm only one of them is displayed on alarm page with alarm message.

Is there any way I can set PRTG to display all of alarmed channels?

Thanks

Dear Drasko,

I'm afraid this cannot be changed. The message (that a limit was reached) can only be displayed for one channel.

best regards.

As you wrote the sensor yourself, you can hardcode the limits for every channel and set the sensor into an error state yourself.

This way you can also set the message that is returned to PRTG depending on the channels that exceed the limits.

It's not exactly what you want, but probably the next best thing.
