Blacklist not working

Votes:

0

Hi

I have a blacklist sensor setup for a customer who has appeared on zen.spamhaus.org, but the blacklist sensor is saying that everything is ok.

I have manually entered 3 blacklists "zen.spamhaus.org, bl.spamcop.net, dnsbl.sorbs.net" in the blacklist servers box

Anyone know why this is not working

Thanks

Mark

Dear Mark,

just to check you added the sensor to a device which has the public IP of the customer (the IP which actually was listed on the blacklist-server)?

best regards.

Also please double check that you are using the public IP of the mailserver which can differ from the public IP that you'll see in a browser session.

This particular site only has one public IP and this matches perfectly with what is in the device

Ok

It seems that this sensor does not work with zen.spamhaus.org or pbl.spamhaus.org.

The IP in question is also blacklisted on dnsbl.sorbs and the sensor flags this correctly

Hope this helps
