Sensor Numbers & Memory Sensors

When adding new sensors it always puts a number beside the sensor that goes up by one number each new sensor. Is there a way to disable PRTG from adding the number each time or is there a reason this shouldn't be done.

Also when adding memory sensors is there a place I can set the default warning and down limits so each sensor that is added has the same by default.

Hello,

I'm sorry but the numbering cannot be disabled in the moment (but using the Multi-Edit you can easily change all sensors of a certain type to have the same name).
Right now, the warning and error-limits need to be changed on each Memory sensor individually, a default can't be set. With PRTG 9 it will be possible to use the Multi-Edit here as well. But you could create a Device Template with your own Limits on a sensor and use this template with the Auto-Discovery from now on, then all new sensors (added by the Auto-Discovery with this template) will have your custom limits.

best regards.
