How to add a range of devices

Votes:

0

I need to add hundreds of devices with 2 sensors each. can i use regular expressions over the Ip field to specify a restrict range of ip's to be scanned? like for example: 192.128.[1-254].254 ? this way i can scan all my subnet routers. The other questions is, how to delete the "add device templates" that i created?

Thanks

Auto-Discovery with Octet Range

In the auto-discovery options, you can set an IP range to scan, defining a range for each individual octet.

For a detailed description please go to PRTG 8 Manual: Auto-Discovery and search for IP with Octet Range.

Deleting Device Templates

In order to delete a custom device template, please go to the PRTG program directory and in the devicetemplates folder, delete your custom *.odt file.
