what information is used to generate the Activation Request Code when I use activation by mail

The following information is used to create a fingerprint of the machine, encoded in a non reversal way (there is no way to get the original values like the MAC from the transfered data): - Bios - System Name - Harddisk Information - Mac - Memory Configuration

The following infos are included and required for the activation: - License key - Installed Edition (Professional, Enterprise etc) - Used Installer
