what's the number of good and failed requests for ping sensor depend on?

what's the number of good and failed requests for ping sensor depend on? there is a constant number? for 24hour if the both sensors configured the same : ping count =1 scan interval = 3 sec

failed requests + good requests = total constant ???

failed good ping
