My state triggers only allow for DOWN, WARNING or UNUSUAL - how do I code this to send an alert?

Hello,

you would have to set the sensors filtering options that it only catches this event and then you can use the Error-Limits (set a upper limit to 0) which will then switch the sensor into error state once it detects such an event. This could then be used with a State Trigger on Condition Down/Warning (depending on the used limit).

best regards.
