Why doesn't my EXE notification work?

Votes:

I am having problems getting the EXE notifications to work. I am using the Microsoft pskill.exe utility and am passing the server name and process name through. However nothing happens. Viewing the windows event log (security) I can see that a process is started with that name. I even set the PRTG core service to run as a domain account that has permissions on the server.

I thought it might be a problem with the variables I'm passing, so I set the entire command in the notification setup. Same thing. I even put the command in a batch file and set the notification to run that and no results.

Are there logs I can review to see what the problem might be? Any suggestions as what the problem might be?
