Interface sensor on Nexus 5596

Auto discovery of our Nexus 5596 devices never return any interfaces. It does add the following types ok though:

Ping ICMP type sensors (destunreach in and out etc) TCP segment type sensors UDP datagram sensors SNMP messages in and out

I never get any interfaces on the device though. For instance e1/1. The nexus 7010 we have works correctly with PRTG. How can I find out what is going wrong?

Hello,

can you add SNMP Traffic Sensors manually to the 5596 in PRTG? If not, please use our SNMP Tester to "scan available standard interfaces" against the device. Should that not yield any results as well, please try the scans again with the "Tweak"-Options enabled in the tester (Force 32bit, Slow Tweak, Single Get).

best regards.

You are probably missing 'snmp-server community aaa' in your switch config. Make sure 'aaa' matches the community string configured for the sensor.
