Why doesn't the Active Directory Integration for User Accounts Use the Email Address from the AD

Votes:

Using the active directory integration of version 9, I've noticed that although my users get added to PRTG, their user account does not have an associated email address in PRTG. So I cannot send emails to these users without first having them add their email to the prtg software.

It is possible to have prtg import the email address automatically?

active-directory ad email ip-address login prtg

No, it is not possible, sorry.

We decided to use the WinNT provider for the AD integration (because it is supported by more platforms) and that doesn't support email addresses. This only makes sense when an exchange server is running in the domain, too.

LDAP would provide emails, but compatibility was more important to us.
