After logging in I get error message "Sorry, the selected object cannot be used here"



When I log into PRTG I am usually sent to one of the dashboards (dashboard1/2/3).

But now, since I upgraded from V8 to V9 I get:

Sorry, the selected object cannot be used here or it does not exist

After logging in you are sent to your personal "Home" URL (which you can edit in the user account settings). The string stored as your personal URL is incorrect!

The correct URL should be:


Note the id=0 at the end.

If you are being sent to


without the "?id=0" please log into the webGUI, navigate to "Home => Dashboard 2" to go to the official URL and you should see the correct page.

Then Select "Home => Make this my Homepage" to store this page as your new homepage.

Now you should get the correct webpage when logging in.
