I am not in position to run PRTG commercial version 6.1.1.855 on a computer with Windows 2008 R2 OS.

I am using PRTG commercial version 6.1.1.855 on Windows 2003 since quite sometime. Now I have installed the same software on Windows 2008 R2 and uninstalled from Windows 2003. The software does not run under Windows 2008 R2.

It does not run at all?

Running PRTG 6 on Windows 7 and 2008 R2 is not officially supported! However, it works - except for packet sniffing. Please use PRTG 7 if you need packet sniffing on Win7 / 2008R2
