Slience alarms without pausing them

Hi Paessler

We have a connection towards one of our vessels which is reachable most of the time. When the vessel is out of range the link goes down and shows as an alarm. For this link this is acceptable. Is there a way to keep this link monitored but without having the system raising the alarm ?

We would like to keep the link montiroed as we then know when the vessel is within range again.

hallo,

create one ping sensor and make it the dependency sensor for your vessels. So that the other sensors would get paused if that sensor is down.

Then edit that ping sensor and turn on Auto Acknowledge for that sensor.

make sure that the device with the ping sensor you use for dependency is not within the group you are pausing!
