Why does Passeler report monitored sensors as unusual?

Several of the monitor links show the status as 'unusal'. With little else for an explantation as to why? What does this 'unusal' mean?

Cheers

PRTG's "Unusual" Detection

The unusual state is an automatically integrated state intended to represent when a sensor breaches the limits of the usual average usage, based on a specific time frame. Often, before a system fails, it acts erratically, and it is therefore useful to know if the current values fail against the normal usage, even though the sensors in case are neither in a warning or error state.

You can

  • disable the Unusual detection on group level in the Settings of each device group (but not on sensor level)
  • change the definition and level of detail,
  • as well as turn off the unusual state in its entirety

In PRTG's web interface, go to Setup | System Administration | Monitoring and change settings in the Unusual Detection section.
