Traffic with Cisco CAR

Dear,

I need to monitor the traffic with a CAR (Committed Access Rate) applied to an interface in Cisco device.

I have the OID (1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.113.1.2.1.1.2) of the counter of bytes permitted by this interface in the CAR, but the OID is a Counter, not the traffic in the interface.

When I used the mtrg, I can monitor the CAR because the mrtg do the formula

OID(t) - OID(t-5) = traffic in the period t-5 (5min).

I don't know if PRTG can do this.

Regards

Hello,

have you tried using a SNMP Custom Sensor and defining it as Delta-Type? That should work.

best regards.
