Need to setup email alert for disk space usage

Hi I am monitoring a linux NAS using File Share SMB - this is working fine and gives me free disk space results. I need to setup an email alert when the free disk space falls below a certian level, 5gb for example. I cannot work out how to do this, can you help please?
