device tree in map designer

After upgrading from v8 to v9.1, the device tree in the map designer is empty! It shows only the remote probes, but there are no devices or sensors shown under them. Help!

I had zoomed way out because my background image is quite large, so I didn't even see that there were those little expansion triangles. Now I zoomed in I see the little triangles, clicking on the triangle (of course) expands the tree.
