How do I change wmi timeout value in 7.1.13095 version

Votes:

0

I am currently running PRTG 7.1.1.3095 version and it's scanning interval is set to 15 minutes. I have read the knowledge base articles here and understood that wmi timeout value should be 1.5x of scanning interval. I don't find this wmi timeout option from the User interface.

When I read the configuration.dat file through notepad, the wmi timeout value is set as 5 sec. I know that I will not be able to change the value if I change it from this configuration.dat file. Need your guidance in setting up this wmi timeout value in this version, which I don't have an option from UI.

Thanks

option prtg timeout wmi wmitimeout

Please update to the latest version. WMI timeout setting was introduced in a later version than the one you have installed.
