Is there a way to send different notifications based on sensor state? Specifically a different notification when a threshold is exceeded vs when a 'no response' is returned or the device is unreachable.

Hello,

I'm afraid that is not possible, 'Down' is 'Down' for PRTG (referring to the sensor's state which triggers notifications), the reason (sensor message to be exact) can't be used to trigger notifications.

best regards.

Hi Juliet,

If you mean the state of a device, you can have two sensors, one (ping) sensor that determines if the device is reachable and another sensor that tells you if a threshold is exceeded.

In that case, both sensors can have different notifications.

Regards,
