Interface Status on Cisco Switches

Is it possible to use a sensor to show the interface status if it is up, down or shutdown.

you can use a traffic sensor and turn on the option to "show alarm when disconnected"

How can I add default sensors/channels (like the one above) for new interfaces/devices added via Auto Discovery?

at the moment this can not be set automatically in auto discovery, sorry

but you can multi edit sensors and enable this for multiple sensors at the same time
