Problem with sensor WMI Network Card on Windows Server 2008 R2 RU

Votes:

I monitor a server with localized version of Windows Server 2008 R2 (russian). Problems appear with WMI Network Card sensor when it gets the name of an interface. It appears with question symbols instead of the russian ones (??????? ??????????? Intel[R] PRO_1000 MT) and this sensor's state become DOWN with the message "Network card not found (code: PE043)". I tried to install english language pack on that server but it didn't help though it has worked with the same issue with russian named services (they become english).

What can I do with my problem?

card network translation wmi

Are you running PRTG on an actual Russian language Windows? If not, this could be the issue.

If you are running PRTG on an actual Russian language Windows, we will need to ask for your paitence until our next upgrade release, which will provide a solution to this codepage issue.
