WMI Process Doesn't always work?

Votes:

0

I've got just over 200 remote probes pushed out. On each probe I monitor one specific process. It's the same process on all remote computers. On about 4 computers the sensor shows down, even though I know the process is running normally.

I've tripled checked that I have the process entered correctly in all 4 of them.

Any idea why it works on ~ 196 but not on 4? I can't find a common denominator.

We had some customers reporting this, we assume a Windows Update did some adjustments.

Please try to re-enable the process performance counters on the affected machines, as described in our WMI Repair List, section "The re-enable performance counters option". Does this help? If not, what is the exact error message of these sensors?

Best regards,

- Volker
