PRTG version 6.2 2000 sensors, polling each 30 seconds Windows 2003 Server R2 Enterprise Server with SP2 2 quad processors and 8GB Ram Database size: 2Gb aprox.

Applicating usually freeze and stop polling. Hardware is function normaly as well as the rest of services.

When we need to scan SNMP objects inside a router or switch, OID polling is extremely slow.

Hello,

2000 sensors are simply way too much for PRTG 6. You need to upgrade to the PRTG Network Monitor, it can handle such numbers of sensors much better.

best regards.
