eventlog sensor - Match String does not work

Votes:

0

By configuring an eventlog sensor I am having a problem to make it run.

Using "Filter by ID" everything is fine.

As I am looking for a group of events where I don't have the ids I want use "Filter by Source". The Match String (Event Source) %Security% - which I use for testing - is not matched in any way. In the event log it is listed regulary.

Any idea what is wrong?

Installed version: PRTG Network Monitor 9.1.4.1840

Hello,

does the issue persist with the latest version of PRTG (9.2.1)? Do you use the WMI Eventlog Sensor or the Windows API Eventlog Sensor?

best regards.
