Not receving Notification emails



we are using PRTG 7 version and we are unable to receive notification mails from PRTG. upon further checking found that our SMTP server is processing emails but we are unable to see any mails to our inbox. what might be the reason.

did it ever work?

is the PRTG server configured to use your mailserver to relay?
