PRTG Report - sensors down last week

Votes:

1

Hi PRTG,

We would like to have a report (csv, html, xml, doesn't matter) of all sensors with status down in a given period (eg last week). I suppose something like a table / matrix with all sensors that went down last week including the number of times the sensor changed to Down. I can't imagine this feature is not available on PRTG. But I can't find it...

Please help!

Sorry, a report filtered on the state(s) of sensors is not possible. But normal reports with data-tables have a part called "Sensor Status History" so you can see for the sensors when a sensor was down/up/etc.. Otherwise maybe the solution of the following article helps: https://kb.paessler.com/knowledgebase/en/topic/7823-how-can-i-create-a-report-about-the-notifications-alarms-and-downtime-of-a-sensor

is this still not possible? i have a request to do reports on down status every night, people want a mail that contains a summary of certain groups down status from the last night. is this doable?

I'm afraid the situation is indeed still the same, also due to the very few requests we have received over the course of the last years (you can see this post is over 3 years old, without further reactions to it).

With the above mentioned workaround, there is an easy way as soon as you setup the trigger. Otherwise indeed such a report cannot be obtained directly from PRTG as of now.

+1 on needing this ability built-in to a default installation without having to jump through hoops to hack it together.

I'm not sure why this wouldn't be possible. I took have been asked to produce reports of down sensors. The ability to produce a report of which sensors went down during a certain time period would be quite valuable (24 hours, 1 week, 1 month, etc.).

Much needed feature. It would be great to go to a sensor, Log tab, and then just have the possibility to download the table (excel, csv etc.) so one can apply then the needed filtering or computations... bye
