We have to change the hostname of our PRTG Server. Is this possible "on the fly"? What changes have to be made in PRTG?

Greetings

In current PRTG versions, you can change PRTG Site Name and DNS Name, as well as the IP Address for Web Server in the web interface under Setup | System Administration | User Interface (see the manual).

Information for older PRTG versions:

In PRTG's web interface, select Setup | System Setup from the main menu. In the "Site information" section, change the Site Name and DNS Name to your liking.

From the user manual section System Administration - Edit System Setup:

Site Information: Here you can define a site name (used in the web interface and in the subject of emails), as well as the URL for the site (used for building links in emails). If you want to use a symbolic (DNS-) name to access PRTG's web server you must enter the name here.

Additional information

If you want to change the IP address under which the PRTG web interface is reachable, please change it in the PRTG Server Administrator.

To use a DNS name to reach the PRTG web interface from the outside world, please configure your firewall to redirect an external IP address to your internal PRTG server's IP address and point a DNS name to the external IP address.

And if instead of changing the server name that changes is the server's domain. Is there any problem?

How do you do this in PRTG 9? I can't find this configuration option anywhere.
