Down Ended vs UP?

When I get an e-mail notification that says "Down Ended" does that simply mean that the down condition has cleared? Essentially saying that the sensor is back up?

Hi,
no, the "Down ended" message does not necessarily mean that the sensor is up. It only indicates that the Down state has ended, the current state might be unknown, up, unusual or warning. For more details on sensor states, please see this article.
