Costs for Running CloudWatch Sensors

If you create Amazon CloudWatch sensors in PRTG, each sensor sends "Amazon CloudWatch API Requests" with each scanning interval. Depending on the service you're monitoring with the sensor, PRTG will send about 10 to 30 requests per scanning interval to Amazon.

Amazon charges a small amount of money for those requests. Last time we checked the Amazon price list, they charged US$ 0.014 per 1,000 requests for the most expensive South America region.

For current price information, please visit and search for the Pricing section.
