Is there a new auto-logout/timeout feature in v12 - we have PRTG open constantly on our Ops monitoring screen, but since upgrading to v12 it keep on logging us out of the web interface (Chrome).

Hi,
what refresh interval have you set in the user account you are using? This can be seen in the Accout Settings.
Best regards

The auto refresh interval is set to 30 seconds. Auto Refresh Type = Refresh page elements using AJAX

Thanks,

Ben

Hi,
can you please check how many sessions are opened to your PRTG? You can do so in
"Setup->Prtg status->System Status" in the section "Core System Memory" (the last entry should be "Sessions"). Furthermore, do you use any external applications which access PRTG via API? On how many browsers have you opened the WebGUI at the same time?
Best regards

Hi,

Please see the sessions below: Sessions 189 KByte (1000)

We don't have any additional interfaces into PRTG or API. The WebGUI is probably only open on 2-3 web browsers at the same time.

Thanks,

Ben

Hi,
may you please send us the PRTG Web Logs to [email protected]? The same can be found in "<PRTG Data Directory>\Logs (Web Server)". To determine the correct data folder, please see this article.
Best regards
