Can we use some snmp function from PRTG in vbscript to request devices ?

Hi Support,

I would like to know if we can use some snmp request function directly in VBscript or Batch file ? Example with ASP and javascript => var oSnmpRqst = new ActiveXObject("CoreAsp.SnmpRqst");

Hello,

That would be a great feature because if we want to monitor SNMP values and make some calculation on it, we should be able to directly connect with a kind of SNMP request.

At the moment, I use a snmputil.exe program to launch SNMP requests, but it's not easy as I have to manage the output in a file...

My first example would be to create a script to monitor Memory, CPU and Disk spaces by SNMP as WMI is only for Windows and use a lot of ressources.

Can you add it as a feature request ?

I'm sorry but this is very likely not going to be implemented. The way to go here is indeed using tools like snmputil.
