WMI Service State

I want to trig a error if a service stops trough WMI If I try to use the WMI Service sensor and try to connect to the computer that I want to monitor I just get returned to the main device window.

If I try to use a WMI Custom Sensor and ask for the Select State state I get the floting point error since the feedback is "Running" "Stopped"

Is there any other way to monitor Services trough PRTG This machine that I am monitoring is a Windows 7 non domain computer I have turned off Firewall so that I can get the sensor up and running before I close access.

Hello,

with a non-domain-machine I'd suggest to deploy a Remote Probe onto the machine and then try the WMI Service Sensor locally on the Remote Probe.

best regards.
