How can I get an hourly "Sensor Status" report email from PRTG?

One feature I miss is an hourly notification system. Once every hour our old monitoring program would send an email that could notify you about how many sensors were UP and how many were DOWN, and what the down sensors were.

I find that feature very valuable and comforting, and I would suggest that PRTG develop such a feature. Even if nothing is down, it tells you that PRTG itself is up and running, and reminds you of the state of all sensors at that moment.

PTF.Status2Email

This can be done with custom tool PTF.Status2Email

The application can be used as a Custom Notification or as a scheduled task, sending an email every morning. It can be configured to report on any combination of Down, Warning, Paused and Unusual sensors.

The email send will look something like this:

PTF.Status2Email

The tool can be dowloaded from this page.
