I'm trying to monitor a virtual machine its cpu load, Memory and users logged in.

Il get the following error back: Status: down, Error: Connection could not be established (80070005:acces denied - Host *host*.*domain* user: administrator, password: , domain: ntlmdomain.localhost) (code: PE015)

Target server as the monitor server are both in the same domain.

Checked: https://www.paessler.com/knowledgebase/en/topic/1073-what-are-the-most-common-errors-when-monitoring-wmi

Credentials checked which do work on other servers. Checked if Dcom is enabled Trying using referring to the ipadress and "localhost " instead of the dns name. WMI test tool can access the target. Tested if port 135 was open on the target.

What do i miss?

Hello,

did you run the WMI Tester on the same machine, on which PRTG is installed? If so, did you also try running the "PRTG Probe Service" under the same account as you've ran the Tester under?

best regards.
