If I bought a 1000 sensors license. Do the number of sensors share between master & failover node and can we use the the failover node to monitor the devices of it own subnet ?

Hello,

in a PRTG Cluster the sensors are basically shared between the nodes, there is no real splitting. It depends. If you move all the sensors under the Cluster Probe, you will have 1000 Sensors on master and failover (all sensors monitored all the time). If you keep 500 sensors on the Local Probe on the Master and have the other 500 under the Cluster Probe, you will only "see" those 2nd 500 on the failover. Ideally though all sensors should be accessible from all nodes in your cluster.

best regards.

Given that the prtg can support up to 4 cluster node. Then what is the price for that?

For a 4-node-cluster you'll need two licenses of the same type (as each license supports 2 nodes).

Should these two licenses be under same number of sensors as the master node?

Are these two license under the same number of sensors as MASTER NODE?

Then we need to buy a licenses that include the same number of sensors as same as the master node. Right?

How about the number of sensors ? Should it be as same as the master node?

Again, the licenses should be the same. So the same size.
