Error with SNMP

Hello,

Trying to configure SNMP from my PRTG box.

Using the Paessler SNMP Tester 3.2, I get a value response from my spamfilter.

Using the same settings for a PRTG probe, I receive the following error:

SNMPERR_AUTHENTICATION_FAILURE (SNMP Error # -35)

I am using a custom SNMP String with a known OID.

Can you assist?

Hello,

the error-message suggest that the Authentication-settings/Community string is not correct in PRTG, while it seems correct in the Tester.

Hi,

I am using v3 SNMP and the same username and Password on both the tester and PRTG. Could anythin else cause this?
