Can't seem to detect all my devices

Votes:

0

I have tried to add some devices by either auto discovery or by adding them manually and can't see to get them detected by prtg. Not sure as there doesn't seem to be any particular reason on to why.

Target machine events don't show anything and prtg doesn't say why it hasn't pciked up the machine...

Any ideas?

Hello,

can these machines be pinged, i.e. do they respond to ping requests? Because that's the base for the Auto-Discovery to find devices.

best regards.

Sorry for the late reply, been sick. Any way, all the machines are setup exactly the same way and all reply to pings.

Do I understand correctly then, adding the devices manually and adding sensors to them does work?

My work around so far has been to add the sensor as a remote sensor. After I do that, works fine, but no other way.
