How do you find Path packet loss using PRTG? Do I need to configure IPSLA on my cisco routers and poll MIBs from PRTG or I only need to configure ip sla responder on the router? Please help.

Hallo,

create IPSLAs on your router, add the router as a device into PRTG and then add IPSLA sensors.

PRTG must be able to contact the router using SNMP !

Another option to check for packet loss would be a ping sensor and simply increase the number of pings sent per interval from 1 to e.g. 10 in the settings of the ping sensor.

Another option to analyze connection quality is the QoS sensor.
