Flow data and Scanning Internval

When using a jFlow, NetFlow, or sFlow sensor, how does the scanning interval affect the collection of flow data? For instance, does PRTG only collect data available during the scanning interval or does it only compile the data during the scanning interval?

I understand the relation between the scanning interval and polled data, e.g. SNMP, but it is not immediately clear when collecting data.

Hello,

with Flow-Sensors PRTG collects all the data and then tries to "organize" the data according to the information in the flows (Flow between IP1 & IP2 for 10 minutes with a volume of xx MB) and this then with a "sampling rate" that is the scanning interval.

best regards.
