WMI CPU Load sensor is not always responding - what can I do?

Votes:

Hello, I am wondering why the WMI CPU load sensor is often not responding, 10 to 13% of the requests are lost.

Is it a WMI problem related to Windows? The memory sensor doesn't has such behaviour. Is it better to use the alternative method for WMI requests?

You should indeed try activating the "Alternative query" (by choosing use alternative) in the settings of your WMI CPU Load sensor.

Another trouble shooting step would be to change the WMI Timeout settings for the device the sensor is running on (select Inherit WMI Compatibility Options in the device's settings).

For more information, please see also What are the "WMI Compatibility Options"?
