Create template which sets limits on each CPU

Votes:

I have a CPU Load sensor configured each individual processor to have limits and saved as a template. If I apply to a different machine with a different amount of processors, it doesn't work, i.e. additional processors have limits disabled. If the machine with the template applied only has 2 processors, it will create additional channels where there are no processors. Am I doing something wrong or is this by design? If the latter, I will create multiple templates for each number of processors but wanted to ask first.

Dear Katy,

I'm afraid the only 'solution' would indeed be either having several templates (one for each number of CPU cores) or one template with the most CPU Cores (where then you will have empty channels afterwards on machines with lower CPU Cores).

best regards.
