Adding Virtual Machine Sensor - Error 8004100E

When I attempt to add a Hyper-V virtual machine sensor, I receive the following error:

8004100E: The namespace specified could not be found.

Anyone have a possible explanation for this?

which exact version of Hyper - V and which exact version of PRTG are you using?

Sorry - using PRTG 12.4.6.3230 monitor to create sensors for Server 2008 R2 vm in a Hyper-V 2012 host.

Can you please update to the latest version, 12.4.7, does the issue then persist?

typically this error is related to an invalid name space in WMI..... rebuild WMI command prompt runas administrator winmgmt /rebuildreposity
