SNMP sensors dropped

I set up probes to monitor the traffic on our Cisco router. It worked successfully for about 90 minutes and then all sensors went down. I have run the SMTP tester and got the following result:

----------------------- New Test ----------------------- Paessler SNMP Tester 3.2 Device: 192.168.1.2

12/24/2012 12:27:55 PM (2 ms) : Start using SNMP V1 12/24/2012 12:27:55 PM (5 ms) : ------- 12/24/2012 12:27:55 PM (5 ms) : Value: Error converting OID (SNMP error # -2007) 12/24/2012 12:27:55 PM (6 ms) : Done

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have tried and can ping from the router to the machine running PRTG and from PRTG to the router.

Thank you.

Hello,

did you use an OIDLIB in PRTG when creating sensors?

In this case please keep in mind that sometimes the index value is made not accessible by the manufacturer of the device (e.g. because the index in the table might change after a reboot). This results in the described "Error converting OID".

Best Regards.
