This article applies as of PRTG 22

Requirements for monitoring Dell servers

Some of the sensors that monitor Dell servers require the Dell OpenManage Server Administrator to be installed on the device. This applies to the SNMP Dell PowerEdge Physical Disk sensor and the SNMP Dell PowerEdge System Health sensor, for example. You can download the required tool here:

Make sure that you enable SNMP in the OpenManage Server Administrator.

Note: You can also monitor Dell PowerEdge servers without OpenManage via Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC 7 as of PRTG 14.x.10).

I added the System Health sensor in PRTG, and installed the OpenManage Essentials, this did not work for me, so I uninstalled the Essentials.

The correct package to install for this to work is the OpenManage Server Administrator, found on the same link as above.
