Problem probing VM

One of my VMs is getting the follow error when probing; "PC: Could not log in using the specified credentials. Please make sure they are not only valid for the target system, but for the probe system aswell. (Performance Counter error 0xB0000004)" The other VMs on the machine are working correctly.

Thanks,

Bill

Hello,

  • it seems that the performance counters cannot be read reliably by the PRTG sensors, please try choosing "WMI Only" for the "Primary Method" in the "WMI Compatibility Options" for the parent group(s) of the devices on which you experience these issues.
  • If this error occurs on systems that are placed in a different domain than the monitoring server, you can try fixing this by adding the monitoring account in this domain to the local users on the monitoring server.

best regards
