WMI Sensors for Endpoint Protection?

Appears that predefined WMI Sensors for Endpoint Protection cannot properly detect Symantec Endpoint Protection v12.1 and Windows Defender on Windows 8 with WMI, is that correct? Their state registers 'unknown' and status unavailable.

Hello,

is this one and the same machine? We have a Windows 8 test machine, that only runs the Windows Defender and the sensor picks it up fine, shows: http://www.abload.de/img/prtgnetworkmonitorweb4vpzs.png which is correct on this machine.

best regards.

Thanks for the reply; it was two separate Win8x64 workstations. I have reloaded the SEP client one one and manually downloaded Defender definition updates on the 2nd. The WMI queries are working perfectly both Defender and the SEP instances, I should have investigated further, thanks again.
