Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable required in PRTG

Hi,

i would like to know PRTG requires the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable" component to run properly? Any impact if i uninstall this component?

Btw, my PRTG is 12.4.6.3313. Running on windows 2008

Hello,

no, we are not using the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable but uninsatalling might have other effects that could impact PRTG.

So if it really bothers you, you can uninstall it, otherwise I would just leave it as it is.
